A gebioMized look at the Tour the France
The first 9 of 21 stages of the Tour the France 2023 are in the books. While the pros earned a well deserved rest day, we take a closer look on what’s going on in France. Obviously from our gebioMized point of view.
Alright. Finally it’s time to take a deep breath. After some very intense first 9 stages the peloton is enjoying the first rest day of the Tour de France 2023. Time for gebioMized to take a closer look on what’s going on in France. Obviously focusing on some of our best known clients: the professional riders from Team INEOS GRENADIERS. As of today, they don’t have just one but two riders in the Top10 of the general classification. Young Spaniard Carlos Rodriguez is continuously climbing up the ranks, now sitting fourth in the GC, 4:22 minutes shy of Jonas Vinegaard and his Yellow Jersey. And in 7th position we have British Tom Pidcock, some 5:26 minutes behind the leader. In the teams ranking, INEOS GRENADIERS is holding the second place, only 44 seconds behind Bahrain Victrorious.
More than 20 times PUSH at the Tour de France!
But it’s not only the guys from the British Team, that are riding through France “powered by gebioMized”. We took the opportunity of the first rest day to count through: More than 20 riders in this year’s Tour de France have chosen what seems like an inconspicuous tool to optimize their performance on the bike: our PUSH cycling shoe insoles, developed and manufactured by gebioMized. This number refers exclusively to riders whom we know are using PUSH because we personally fitted or delivered them. It’s possible that there are even more PUSH insoles in the peloton, as they are usually well-hidden inside the racing shoe.
This figure shows us that gebioMized is recognized as a partner in professional cycling. As part of our established bike fitting partnership with Team INEOS Grenadiers, not only Egan Bernal, Tom Pidcock, and others rely on PUSH. Several other riders also trust PUSH insoles to take their performance to a new level. In fact, during the first week of the Tour de France, we could identify at least two riders in classification jerseys who were using PUSH insoles.
The gebioMized PUSH insole comes in three different versions and is highly adaptable.
Proven by the pros, available for everybody
However, we are particularly proud to offer these products not only to professionals but to everyone through our network of bike fitters. After all, PUSH insoles provide all riders with more stability, comfort, and performance while minimizing discomfort or pain. Sounds good, right?
We’ll take another deep breath now before looking forward to the second week of the Tour de France. Can’t wait to find out if the hard stages in the Alpes will decide the race. We’ll be back next Monday, in time for the second rest day.
